I'm hoping someone can help me with this question. What does asphyxiated mean in medical terms? I'm not a medical professional, but I've been hearing this term more and more frequently and I'm curious to know what it means. I know that asphyxiation has something to do with not having enough oxygen, but what does it mean in a medical context? Are there any other medical terms related to it?
