A 9 9 Apgar score is the highest possible score on the Apgar scale, which is used to assess the health of newborn babies. The Apgar score measures five areas: heart rate, respiratory effort, muscle tone, reflexes, and skin color. A score of 9 9 means that the baby has excellent health. The score is usually given one minute and five minutes after birth. A score of 7 or above is considered good, while a score below 4 may indicate the need for immediate medical attention.
