What do we call someone who is not social

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with something. I'm trying to figure out what we call someone who is not social. Is there a specific term or phrase for this? It's something I've heard before but I can't remember what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We may refer to someone who is not social as an introvert. An introvert is someone who is more comfortable in their own company or in small groups than in large social gatherings. Introverts prefer to spend their time alone or with just a few close friends. They often find social situations draining and can find it difficult to make small talk.
