Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help understanding what hemorrhoids look like. I'm a bit embarrassed to ask, but I'm unsure how to recognize them. Can anyone tell me what they appear as? Have you or anyone you know had symptoms of hemorrhoids? I'd really appreciate any advice or information you can provide.

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the lower rectum or anus. They can appear as either internal or external.

Internal Hemorrhoids

Internal hemorrhoids are located inside the rectum and are not visible from outside the body. They are usually painless and cause no discomfort. However, if they become large enough, they may cause rectal bleeding or protrude outside the anus.

External Hemorrhoids

External hemorrhoids are located outside the rectum and are visible. They can be itchy, painful, and can cause burning and itching sensations. They may also bleed.

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are swollen veins in the anus and rectum. They can be internal or external. Internal hemorrhoids are located inside the rectum and usually do not cause discomfort. External hemorrhoids are located under the skin around the anus, and they can often be itchy and painful.

Hemorrhoids appear as swollen lumps or masses around the anus. They can be bright red or purplish in color, and can be painful when touched. They may also cause bleeding during bowel movements. In some cases, the lumps may be painful and itchy.

In addition to swollen lumps in the anal region, some people with hemorrhoids may also experience rectal bleeding, itching, pain, and burning. In some cases, the hemorrhoids may become so large that they protrude from the anus, and may require medical treatment.

If you notice any of these symptoms or lumps around your anus, you should consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are swollen veins in the lower rectum and anus. They can appear as either external or internal. External hemorrhoids are located under the skin around the anus and may appear as small, itchy lumps. Internal hemorrhoids are located deeper in the rectum and usually cause less discomfort than external hemorrhoids. They can appear as small, soft lumps or may be completely hidden. In some cases, internal hemorrhoids may protrude through the anus and appear as external hemorrhoids.
