I'm hoping someone here can help me out with a question I have about Jesus. I was recently reading up on His life and came across something that I can't seem to find an answer to: What country was Jesus from?

I am aware that He was born in Bethlehem, but I was wondering what country Bethlehem was part of during the time He was alive. I would appreciate any insight or knowledge that anyone has on this topic.
