Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help understanding a condition caused by the body's own immune system that leads to anemia. I'm not sure what it's called or what the symptoms are, but I know it's an issue that affects the red blood cells in the body. Does anyone have any information they can share about this condition? I'd be really grateful for any help at all. Thanks in advance.

Subtitle: Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA)

Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA) is an anemia that is caused by the body's own immune system, which mistakenly attacks and destroys red blood cells. AIHA is a rare but serious condition that can affect people of any age, gender, or ethnicity. It can cause a range of symptoms, including fatigue, shortness of breath, and jaundice. Treatment typically involves medications to suppress the immune system and prevent further red blood cell destruction. In some cases, a blood transfusion may be necessary.
