Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help understanding what blood test shows liver and pancreas function. I know there are certain tests that can give you an idea of how well your organs are functioning, but I'm not sure which specific blood test is used to assess liver and pancreas function. Does anyone know what type of test is used and what information it can provide? Any help would be appreciated.

Cevap:
The blood test that shows liver and pancreas function is called a Liver Function Test (LFT). This test measures the levels of certain enzymes and proteins in the blood that are produced by the liver and pancreas. These enzymes include alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), and bilirubin. The test results can help diagnose and monitor conditions that affect the liver and pancreas, such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, pancreatitis, and cancer.
