I'm having trouble understanding the two primary types of behavior. Can anyone give me some insight? I'm interested to learn more about the two main types of behavior and how they might differ.

The two primary types of behavior are proactive and reactive.

Proactive Behavior

Proactive behavior is when a person takes initiative and acts intentionally to reach a goal. It is characterized by forward thinking, planning, and taking action. This type of behavior is often considered positive and is the kind of behavior most people strive to achieve.

Reactive Behavior

Reactive behavior is when a person responds to external stimuli or events. It is characterized by reacting to situations without thinking them through or making any conscious decisions. This type of behavior can often be seen as negative, as it may lead to impulsive decisions or actions that could have negative consequences.
