Symptoms of Stage 3 Cervical Cancer

Stage 3 cervical cancer is the most advanced stage of cervical cancer and is much more difficult to treat than earlier stages. Symptoms of stage 3 cervical cancer can vary, but may include:

Vaginal bleeding - This is the most common symptom of cervical cancer in stage 3. Bleeding may occur between menstrual cycles, after sexual intercourse, or after menopause.

Pelvic pain - Pelvic pain can be caused by pressure from the tumor on organs in the pelvic area.

Abnormal vaginal discharge - This discharge may be watery, bloody, or contain a foul odor.

Weight loss - Unexplained weight loss can be a sign of advanced cervical cancer.

Fatigue - Fatigue is common in people with advanced cancer.

Urinary problems - Urinary issues can include difficulty urinating or increased frequency of urination.

Loss of appetite - Loss of appetite is common in people with advanced cancer.

Bowel problems - Constipation, diarrhea, and abdominal pain can all be caused by advanced cervical cancer.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it's important to contact your doctor for a diagnosis. Treatment options for stage 3 cervical cancer depend on the location and size of the tumor, as well as the patient's overall health. Early detection and treatment can greatly improve the chances of a successful outcome.

Common symptoms can include abnormal vaginal bleeding, pain in the lower back, pelvis, and legs, and increased vaginal discharge. Other possible symptoms can include fatigue, loss of appetite, and weight loss. Additional symptoms to watch out for include frequent urination, feeling the need to urinate more often, and urinary incontinence. Stage 3 cervical cancer is an advanced form of the disease and is characterized by the spread of the cancer beyond the cervix into the surrounding tissue and organs. The most common symptoms of Stage 3 cervical cancer include:

1. Pelvic pain or pressure - This is a common symptom of Stage 3 cervical cancer and can range from mild to severe. The pain may be a dull ache and can be constant or intermittent.

2. Abnormal vaginal bleeding - Women with cervical cancer often experience abnormal vaginal bleeding, such as bleeding between periods or after sexual intercourse. Bleeding after menopause is also a sign of cervical cancer.

3. Unusual vaginal discharge - Women with cervical cancer may experience unusual vaginal discharge, such as a watery, bloody, or foul-smelling discharge.

4. Pain during sexual intercourse - Pain during sexual intercourse is a common symptom of cervical cancer. This can be due to the cancer invading the tissue of the cervix.

5. Difficulty urinating - Difficulty urinating, such as a need to urinate frequently or difficulty starting a urine stream, can be a symptom of cervical cancer.

6. Unintended weight loss - Unexplained weight loss can be a sign of many different illnesses, including cervical cancer.

These are the most common symptoms of Stage 3 cervical cancer. It is important to note that not everyone with cervical cancer will experience all of these symptoms. If you have any of these symptoms, it is important to consult your doctor as soon as possible. Early detection and treatment of cervical cancer can improve outcomes.

Cervical cancer is usually asymptomatic in its early stages. However, as the cancer progresses to Stage 3, symptoms may become more prominent. Common signs of Stage 3 cervical cancer include abnormal vaginal bleeding, pain during intercourse, pelvic pain, fatigue, and abnormal vaginal discharge. In some cases, patients may also experience back pain, urinary issues, and swollen legs. It is important to note that these symptoms may be caused by other medical conditions, so it is important to seek medical attention if they are experienced.
