Symptoms of Bad Rhinitis

Bad rhinitis is a condition that can cause inflammation of the nasal passages and can lead to a variety of uncomfortable symptoms. These symptoms can range from mild to severe and can include a stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, postnasal drip, sore throat, coughing, headache, facial pressure or pain, and even fever. In some cases, bad rhinitis can also cause nasal congestion, blocked sinuses, and an impaired sense of smell or taste.

Nasal Congestion
Nasal congestion is a common symptom of bad rhinitis and is characterized by a feeling of stuffiness inside the nose. Nasal congestion can be caused by swollen nasal passages, which can be due to inflammation or other irritants such as allergens, dust, or smoke.

Sneezing
Sneezing is an uncontrollable reflex that is often triggered by irritants such as dust or pollen. Sneezing is a symptom of bad rhinitis, as the inflammation inside the nose can cause an irritating sensation that can cause the body to reflexively respond with a sneeze.

Postnasal Drip
Postnasal drip is a condition in which mucus accumulates in the back of the throat and can cause a throat irritation or soreness. Postnasal drip is caused by inflammation in the nasal passages, as the mucus produced by the body is unable to properly drain from the nose and instead collects in the throat.

Coughing
Coughing is a common symptom of bad rhinitis, as irritation in the nasal passages can cause a reflexive response in the body to expel the irritant. Coughing can also be caused by postnasal drip, as the mucus that collects in the throat can trigger a reflexive cough.

Headache
Headaches are a common symptom of bad rhinitis, as the inflammation in the nasal passages can cause pressure and pain in the head. Headaches can be caused by sinus congestion, as the blocked passageways can cause a buildup of pressure in the head that can lead to headaches.

Facial Pressure or Pain
Facial pressure or pain is a symptom of bad rhinitis, as the inflammation in the nasal passages can cause pain and discomfort in the face. Facial pressure or pain can be caused by sinus congestion, as the blockage of the passageways can cause a buildup of pressure in the face, which can lead to facial discomfort.
