Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping that someone can help me out.
I'm trying to find out what the most common pancreatic enzymes are and what they do. I've done some research but I'm still confused and would really appreciate some help. Can anyone let me know what the most commonly used pancreatic enzymes are and what they do? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Pancreatic Enzymes

Pancreatic enzymes are proteins produced by the pancreas that help break down food in the digestive tract. These enzymes are essential for proper digestion and absorption of nutrients. The three main pancreatic enzymes are amylase, lipase, and trypsin.

Amylase is an enzyme that breaks down carbohydrates and starches into sugars. It is found in saliva and in the pancreas.

Lipase is an enzyme that breaks down fats into fatty acids and glycerol. It is found in the pancreas, small intestine, and saliva.

Trypsin is an enzyme that breaks down proteins into amino acids. It is found in the pancreas and small intestine.

These three enzymes are the most common pancreatic enzymes. They are essential for proper digestion and absorption of nutrients. Without these enzymes, food particles cannot be broken down properly, leading to nutrient deficiencies and digestive problems.
