Hello everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me out with a question I have been puzzling over. I am trying to learn more about the 7 survival needs and am wondering if anyone can explain what they are and why they are important. I have heard that these needs are essential for humans to survive, but I'm not sure what they are exactly.

Survival Needs

Survival needs are the basic requirements that all individuals must have in order to stay alive. They include air, food, water, shelter, clothing, warmth, sleep, and sanitation.

Air: Air is essential for the body to function properly and survive. Without oxygen, the body's cells cannot properly metabolize food for energy. Additionally, air is necessary to provide the body with the necessary oxygen to produce energy, which is used for various bodily functions and activities.

Food: Food is necessary in order for the body to receive the necessary nutrients and energy to survive. Without food, the body will become malnourished and eventually die.

Water: Water is necessary for the body to stay hydrated and functioning properly. Without adequate water, the body will become dehydrated and eventually die.

Shelter: Shelter is necessary in order to protect the body from the elements and extreme weather conditions. Without proper shelter, the body may be exposed to extreme heat or cold, which can be fatal.

Clothing: Clothing is necessary in order to protect the body from the elements. Without proper clothing, the body may become exposed to extreme temperatures and conditions, which can be fatal.

Warmth: Warmth is necessary in order to maintain a healthy body temperature and to protect the body from hypothermia. Without adequate warmth, the body's temperature may drop to dangerous levels, which can be fatal.

Sleep: Sleep is necessary in order for the body to rest and recover. Without proper rest, the body will become fatigued and eventually die.

Sanitation: Sanitation is necessary in order to maintain a healthy environment and to prevent the spread of disease. Without proper sanitation, the body may become exposed to dangerous bacteria and viruses, which can be fatal.
