#4 Quaternary Prevention: This involves reducing the risk of recurrence of a disease, illness, or injury after it has already occurred. This can include lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking or changing your diet to reduce the risk of developing a chronic condition. It can also include monitoring and follow-up care to ensure that any existing conditions are managed appropriately.
