Bacterial diseases are illnesses caused by bacteria. These illnesses can range from mild to severe, and some of the most common bacterial diseases include tuberculosis, urinary tract infections, and bacterial meningitis.
Tuberculosis is a potentially serious infectious disease that is caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. It is spread through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. Symptoms of tuberculosis include chest pain, coughing up blood, and fatigue.
