Hello everyone,

I am hoping to get some help from the community as I am trying to find out more about late symptoms of womb cancer. I have heard about the early signs of the disease, but I am interested in learning more about the signs that appear in the later stages. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge that they can share? Has anyone had any experience with this type of cancer? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Late Symptoms of Womb Cancer

Womb cancer, also known as uterine cancer, is a type of cancer that affects the uterus. It is most common in women over the age of 50 and can be difficult to diagnose in its early stages due to the fact that its symptoms often mimic those of other conditions. Late symptoms of womb cancer can include:

Abnormal Bleeding: Abnormal bleeding is one of the most common late symptoms of womb cancer. This can include bleeding between periods, after menopause, or after sexual intercourse.

Pelvic Pain: Pelvic pain or discomfort is another late symptom of womb cancer. This can range from a dull ache to sharp pains in the lower abdomen.

Pressure in the Pelvic Area: A feeling of pressure or fullness in the pelvic area can be a sign of late stage womb cancer. This may also be accompanied by a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen.

Weight Loss: Unexplained weight loss can be a sign of late stage womb cancer. This can be accompanied by fatigue, nausea, and other symptoms.

Fluid Discharge: Fluid discharge from the vagina can be a sign of late stage womb cancer. This can range from a watery discharge to a thick, foul-smelling discharge.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it is important to make an appointment with your doctor for further evaluation. Early diagnosis and treatment of womb cancer can significantly increase the chances of a successful outcome.

In more advanced cases, other symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, bloating, and back pain may occur. In rare cases, an individual may experience pain during urination or during sexual intercourse. It is important to contact your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms. Early diagnosis and treatment can increase the chances of successful recovery.

Late symptoms of womb cancer are those that develop after the cancer has progressed significantly and spread beyond the uterus. These can include unexplained weight loss, abdominal pain, a feeling of fullness in the abdomen, swelling of the legs, and anemia. Other symptoms may include vaginal bleeding after menopause, pain during intercourse, and changes in menstruation.

Late symptoms of womb cancer can also be related to the spread of cancer to other organs. If the cancer has spread to the liver, a person may experience jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), abdominal pain, nausea, and fatigue. If the cancer has spread to the lungs, a person may experience shortness of breath, chest pain, and/or a persistent cough. In addition, if the cancer has spread to the bones, the person may experience joint pain, swelling, and fractures.

It is important to note that late symptoms of womb cancer may be similar to those of other conditions and do not always indicate cancer. Therefore, it is important to report any concerning new symptoms to a doctor to determine the cause and to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.

Womb cancer can present itself in a variety of ways, depending on how advanced it is. Late symptoms of womb cancer may include pain in the lower back, abdomen, or pelvis; difficulty urinating or having a bowel movement; changes in the menstrual cycle; or vaginal bleeding after menopause. Other symptoms may include pelvic pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, nausea or vomiting, and swelling in the abdomen. In some cases, late symptoms of womb cancer may include difficulty breathing and/or chest pain. If any of these symptoms are present, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.
