1. Surgery
Surgery is the most common treatment for cancer. It involves removing the cancerous tumor and nearby tissue from the body. Depending on the type of cancer, surgery may be used alone or in combination with other treatments such as radiation or chemotherapy.

2. Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is a type of treatment that uses drugs to kill cancer cells. It is usually used in combination with other treatments such as surgery or radiation.

3. Radiation Therapy
Radiation therapy is a type of treatment that uses high-energy x-rays or other particles to kill cancer cells. It is usually used in combination with other treatments such as surgery or chemotherapy.

4. Biological Therapy
Biological therapy is a type of treatment that uses the body's own immune system to fight cancer. It is usually used in combination with other treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation.

5. Targeted Therapy
Targeted therapy is a type of treatment that targets specific genes or proteins in cancer cells. This type of treatment is used in combination with other treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation.

1. Surgery: Surgery is a common treatment for cancer and is used to remove tumors or affected tissues. Depending on the type of cancer, surgery may involve removing the entire tumor or just a part of it. It is typically used for solid tumors, such as those found in the breast, colon, and rectum.

2. Radiation Therapy: Radiation therapy is a treatment that uses high-energy X-rays or particles to kill cancer cells. It can be used to shrink tumors, relieve symptoms, and prevent cancer from spreading.

3. Chemotherapy: Chemotherapy is a type of treatment that uses drugs to kill cancer cells. It can be used alone or in combination with other treatments, such as surgery and radiation therapy.

4. Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy is a type of treatment that helps the body's immune system fight cancer cells. It can be used to boost the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells, or to help the body produce substances that attack cancer cells.

5. Targeted Therapy: Targeted therapy is a type of treatment that uses drugs to target specific molecules involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. This type of therapy can be used alone or in combination with other treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

There are many treatments for cancer, each of which can be tailored to the individual and the type of cancer they have. Common treatments include: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and surgery. Chemotherapy uses drugs to kill cancer cells, radiation therapy uses high-energy X-rays to target and kill cancer cells, targeted therapy uses drugs to target and destroy cancer cells, immunotherapy stimulates the body’s own immune system to fight cancer cells, and surgery is used to remove cancerous cells from the body. Depending on the type of cancer and the individual, any combination of these treatments can be used to treat cancer.

Depending on the type and stage of cancer, treatment options can vary greatly. Generally, treatments may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and/or stem cell transplantation. In some cases, a combination of treatments may be recommended. Surgery is usually recommended for localized tumors, and chemotherapy and radiation may be used to shrink tumors or kill cancer cells. Targeted therapy and immunotherapy are newer treatments that use drugs to target specific cancer cells, while hormone therapy is used to reduce the levels of hormones that can fuel cancer cell growth. Stem cell transplantation is also used to help restore the body’s normal blood cell production after chemotherapy or radiation.
