There are several exercises that can help with arthritis. Low-impact aerobic activities like biking, swimming, and walking are all great choices as they help to reduce pain and stiffness. Strength training can also be beneficial for building up muscle around affected joints. Stretching and range-of-motion exercises are also important for reducing pain and maintaining joint flexibility. Tai Chi and yoga can also be helpful for increasing flexibility, balance, and range of motion. Finally, water aerobics are a great option as they provide support in the water and reduce the amount of pressure on the joints.

1. Swimming: Swimming is one of the best exercises for arthritis because it is a low-impact activity that can help reduce joint pain and stiffness while also providing a full body workout. The buoyancy of the water helps support the body’s weight, allowing for a more comfortable workout.

2. Tai Chi: Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art that is often used for its therapeutic benefits. It involves slow, controlled movements that can help increase flexibility and range of motion while also relieving stress and improving balance.

3. Walking: Walking is a great exercise for those who suffer from arthritis because it is low-impact and can be done anywhere. It can also help increase circulation and reduce joint pain.

4. Yoga: Yoga is another low-impact exercise that can help improve flexibility, balance, and strength. It can also help reduce stress and improve one’s overall sense of well-being.

5. Strength Training: Strength training is an important part of any exercise routine, even for those with arthritis. It is important to focus on low-impact exercises that target the larger muscle groups and are done slowly and with control. This can help increase muscle strength while reducing joint pain.
