Disadvantages of Vaccines
Vaccines are one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. However, there are certain disadvantages associated with them.
1. Side Effects
Vaccines can sometimes cause mild side effects such as fever, headache, irritability, and soreness at the injection site. In rare cases, more serious reactions such as an allergic reaction may occur.
2. Ineffectiveness
Some vaccines may not be effective in protecting against the disease. This may be due to the fact that the vaccine was not administered correctly, or that the person receiving the vaccine had an immunodeficiency disorder.
3. Cost
Vaccines can be expensive, especially for those who do not have health insurance. For families on a tight budget, it can be difficult to afford the cost of the vaccine.
