What is the best time of year to go on a safari in Africa?

The best time to go on safari in Africa varies from region to region. Generally, the dry season (which typically runs from July to October in East Africa and May to October in Southern Africa) is the most popular time as the vegetation is sparse, allowing for easy wildlife viewing. However, the wet season (typically December to March in East Africa and November to April in Southern Africa) can also be a great time to visit, as the vegetation is lush and green, and the animals congregate around the water sources. As such, the ideal time to go on safari in Africa depends on the type of experience that you are looking for.

What is the best way to see the Great Migration of Wildebeest?

The best way to see the Great Migration of Wildebeest is to book a safari in Tanzania or Kenya. These countries provide access to the annual migration from July to October, when the herds move across the Serengeti plains in search of fresh grazing. The migration is one of the most awe-inspiring spectacles of the animal kingdom, and it can be seen from both within the park or from a hot air balloon. Booking a safari with a knowledgeable guide is essential to ensure the best possible experience.
