Is tear a gas

I'm looking for help from other forum users. Is tear a gas? I'm not familiar with the science behind it, but I'm curious to know if there is a gas present in our tears. Has anyone ever studied this or knows of any scientific research that could help answer this question? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No, tear is not a gas. Tear is a liquid produced by the lacrimal glands in the eyes. It is composed of water, oils, and proteins, and is necessary for lubricating the eyeball and keeping it healthy. Tears are also produced in response to strong emotions, such as joy, sadness, or anger. The tears then evaporate or are wiped away.
