Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some help here from people who may have experienced or know about the measles virus. Is measles itchy? I'm asking because my daughter recently came down with it and I've noticed her itching a lot more than usual. I'm not sure if it's related to the virus or something else. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Measles is a highly contagious viral infection that can cause an itchy rash. The rash typically appears on the face and neck and then spreads to the rest of the body. It can last for up to two weeks and is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, sore throat, and red eyes. Although the rash is not usually painful, it can be itchy and uncomfortable. The itchiness can be relieved with over-the-counter anti-itch medications or by applying cool compresses to the skin.
