Does anyone have any advice about inhaling CO2? I'm trying to understand if it's harmful, and I'm hoping someone on this forum might be able to help me out. I'm a bit concerned because I understand that inhaling too much CO2 can be dangerous, but I'm not sure how much is too much.

CO2 (carbon dioxide) is a gas that is naturally present in the air. It is also a byproduct of human activities such as burning fossil fuels. Inhaling elevated levels of CO2 can be harmful to your health, as it can reduce the oxygen levels in your body and lead to various health issues.

Risks of Inhaling High Levels of CO2

When the concentration of CO2 in the air is higher than normal, it can cause symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and difficulty breathing. Prolonged exposure to high levels of CO2 can lead to more serious health issues such as respiratory problems, heart problems, and damage to the nervous system.

Sources of High Levels of CO2

High levels of CO2 can be found in indoor spaces that are poorly ventilated, such as homes, offices, and other enclosed spaces. It can also be found in areas where there are a lot of people, such as crowded rooms or public transportation.

Preventing Exposure to High Levels of CO2

To reduce the risk of inhaling high levels of CO2, it is important to ensure that indoor spaces are properly ventilated. This can be done by opening windows or using fans to circulate the air. Additionally, it is important to avoid overcrowding in enclosed spaces.
