Is autoimmunity a hallmark of post COVID syndrome

I'm hoping to get some help from other forum users regarding autoimmunity as a potential hallmark of post COVID syndrome. Has anyone here experienced autoimmunity after having COVID-19? Are there any studies out there that look at the prevalence of autoimmunity in people who have had the virus? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Autoimmunity is a complex topic and it is not yet known if it is a hallmark of post COVID syndrome. There is evidence that suggests that autoimmunity may be a consequence of COVID-19 infection. A recent study by the Mayo Clinic has identified autoantibodies in patients who have had COVID-19. These autoantibodies are believed to be associated with inflammatory processes that could lead to autoimmune conditions.

However, it is not yet clear if autoimmunity is a direct result of COVID-19 infection, or if it is an indirect consequence of the infection. More research is needed to better understand the relationship between autoimmunity and post COVID syndrome.
