I'm trying to find out if argon gas is flammable or not. Does anyone have any experience with this? I've heard conflicting answers and I'm hoping to get some more informed opinions from other users on this forum. I haven't been able to find any reliable sources to answer this question, so any help would be much appreciated. Have any of you had any experience with argon gas and its flammability? I'd love to hear what you know.

Is Argon Gas Flammable?

No, argon gas is not flammable. Argon is an inert gas, which means it will not react with other elements. It is nonflammable, non-toxic, and odorless. Argon gas is used in a variety of applications, including welding, filling sealed-off areas, and in lighting.

Inert: Inert gases are gases that do not react with other elements. They are chemically stable and do not form compounds with other elements. Examples of inert gases include argon, helium, and neon.
