Is 78 a high ALT level

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I recently got my blood test results and my ALT level was at 78. Is this high? I'm not sure what the normal range is for ALT levels, so I'm a little concerned. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? I'd really appreciate any advice or information on this topic.

ALT (alanine aminotransferase) is an enzyme found in the liver that helps with the breakdown of proteins. It is normal for a person to have some ALT in their bloodstream, but if the levels are too high, it can be an indication of liver damage or another health issue. A normal ALT level is usually between 10 and 40 units per liter (U/L). A reading of 78 U/L would be considered high and warrant further investigation.
