I'm an INFJ and I'm wondering how smart we typically are. Are we smarter than other personality types? Are our intelligence levels different from other types? Is there any research that has been done on this topic? Can anyone help me learn more about this? I would really appreciate any insight or information that other forum users might have.

INFJ stands for Introversion, Intuition, Feeling, and Judging. These are the four personality traits of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a psychological assessment designed to measure individual differences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. INFJ is one of the 16 personality types identified by the MBTI.

Intellectual Ability

When it comes to intellectual ability, INFJs are often highly intelligent and creative individuals who are capable of deep and complex thought. They are typically highly knowledgeable in a wide range of topics and have a strong ability to think abstractly. They often excel in language-based subjects such as literature, philosophy, and history. INFJs are also adept at problem-solving and have a knack for coming up with original solutions to challenging problems.

Emotional Intelligence

In addition to their high intellectual ability, INFJs also tend to possess a high degree of emotional intelligence. They are highly aware of their own feelings and those of others, and are often very good at managing their own emotions as well as the emotions of those around them. INFJs are naturally empathetic and often have a strong ability to sense how people are feeling and what they need. They are often able to quickly and accurately assess situations and recognize the emotions involved.

Overall Intelligence

Overall, INFJs are typically highly intelligent individuals who are capable of both deep intellectual thought and high emotional intelligence. They are typically well-rounded individuals who can think abstractly and empathize with others. Their combination of intellectual and emotional intelligence makes them well-suited for many different types of careers and pursuits.
