How rare is argon gas

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help understanding something about argon gas. I was wondering how rare it is? I know it's one of the noble gases but I'm not sure if it's abundant or not. Could someone help me understand more about it?

I'd really appreciate any information or resources anyone can share. I'm particularly interested in learning about its availability in nature and how it's used in industry.

Argon gas is one of the most abundant gases in the Earth's atmosphere, making up about 0.94% of it. It is the third-most abundant gas in the atmosphere, after nitrogen and oxygen. Argon is also found in the Earth's oceans, which contain a higher concentration of the gas than the atmosphere. The gas is also present in many minerals and rocks, including granite, basalt, and shale. Argon is a noble gas, meaning it does not form compounds and is generally unreactive.
