How rare is a Whipple

I'm looking for some help from other forum users about how rare a Whipple is. I'm not sure what it is or where it comes from, but I've heard it mentioned a few times and I'm curious to know more. Does anyone here have any experience with a Whipple or know anything about it? Is it a rare item or something more common? Any information would be appreciated.

Whipple is a rare condition that affects the pancreas. It is a complex disorder that is caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. The exact cause is unknown, but it has been linked to mutations in certain genes. It affects only about 1 in every 100,000 people, making it a very rare disorder. Treatment usually includes surgery, radiation therapy, and/or chemotherapy. The prognosis for those with Whipple is generally good, although some may experience complications.
