How much oxygen is at 40000 feet

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help. I'm trying to find out how much oxygen is at 40000 feet. I know that oxygen levels decrease as you go higher in altitude, but I'm not sure how much it drops at that altitude. Has anyone had any experience with this? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

At an altitude of 40000 feet (approximately 12.2 km), the atmospheric pressure is low, and thus the amount of oxygen in the air is also low. At this altitude, the oxygen content of the air is typically around 12.5%, meaning that there is approximately 12.5% oxygen available to breathe. This is significantly lower than the oxygen content of air at sea level, which is typically around 21%. The amount of oxygen available to breathe decreases with increasing altitude, meaning that at higher altitudes it can be difficult to breathe and you may experience altitude sickness, headache, dizziness, and fatigue. To compensate, it is important to increase your intake of fluids and to take breaks often. It is also important to monitor your oxygen saturation level regularly, as even mild hypoxia can be dangerous.
