How many hours of sleep is a coma

I'm looking for some help understanding how many hours of sleep a person in a coma needs. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? I'm wondering if the amount of hours a person in a coma needs is the same as a regular person or if it is different. Does the amount of sleep someone in a coma needs vary depending on the individual, or is there a general rule of thumb? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Coma is a medical condition in which a person is unconscious and has minimal brain activity. It is not possible to determine how many hours of sleep a person in a coma is getting, as they are in an altered state and their brain activity is often not normal. However, some medical experts believe that a person in a coma may experience some type of sleep, as their body still needs rest. Additionally, some of the medications used to treat a coma may also help the body to rest and sleep.
