Hz Ismail, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad, had three companions during his lifetime. His first companion was his father, Imam Musa Kazim, who was the seventh Imam of the Shia sect of Islam. His second companion was his uncle, Imam Reza, who was the eighth Imam of the Shia sect of Islam. Finally, his third companion was his son, Imam Mohammad Taqi, who was the ninth Imam of the Shia sect of Islam. Hz Isma’il ibn Ja’far al-Sadiq, the sixth Imam of the Shia Muslims, had a total of five companions who were also descendants of the Prophet Muhammad. These five companions were his sons, Muhammad al-Baqir, Zayn al-Abidin, Hasan al-Askari, Muhammad al-Mahdi, and Ja’far al-Sadiq. All five of these companions were very important in the development of Islamic culture and religion, and even today their views continue to shape the beliefs of many Shia Muslims. All five of these companions are well-respected and revered in the Shia Muslim community, and are seen as important guides for believers.
