How do hospitals check for pancreatitis

I'm hoping to get some help from other users on this forum about how hospitals check for pancreatitis. I've been researching the condition and am trying to understand more about how it is diagnosed. From what I understand, doctors typically use blood tests, imaging tests, and endoscopic procedures, but I'm not sure what these entail or how they're used. Could anyone explain more about how hospitals check for pancreatitis and the differences between the tests they use? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Diagnosis

Diagnosis of pancreatitis usually begins with a physical exam and a review of the patient’s medical history. The doctor will ask questions about the patient’s symptoms and may order tests, such as blood tests, imaging tests, or endoscopic procedures.

Blood Tests: Blood tests can measure levels of pancreatic enzymes, which may indicate inflammation of the pancreas.

Imaging Tests: Imaging tests such as an ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI can help reveal changes to the pancreatic tissue, such as swelling, blockages, or tumors.

Endoscopic Procedures: Endoscopic procedures, such as ERCP or endoscopic ultrasound, can provide a more detailed image of the pancreas and allow for biopsies of any suspicious areas.
