Does argon support burning

I'm having trouble understanding if argon can support burning. I've read a few articles about it, but I'm still not sure if it is possible. Can someone please help me out? I would really appreciate it. I understand that argon is a noble gas, so I'm assuming it doesn't support burning, but I'd like to be sure.

Argon is an inert gas, meaning it does not support combustion or burning. It is not flammable or explosive, and it does not provide oxygen for combustion. Argon is used in many industrial applications, such as welding, to create an inert atmosphere and prevent oxidation of the metal being welded.
