Do psychopaths ever feel guilty

I'm trying to understand if psychopaths ever feel guilty, and I'm hoping to get some insight from other forum users. I've heard that psychopaths don't usually feel empathy or guilt, but I'm wondering if that is always the case. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about whether or not psychopaths can feel guilty? Any advice or resources would be much appreciated.

Psychopaths may not experience guilt in the same way as the average person. They do not have the same empathy or emotional depth, so they are not likely to feel remorse or regret for their actions. However, some studies suggest that psychopaths can experience guilt, but in a different way. They may still feel a sense of unease or discomfort when they do something wrong, but it is not the same type of guilt that most people feel.

Yes, psychopaths can feel guilt, though it is typically more shallow than what is experienced by non-psychopaths. Studies have suggested that the guilt of psychopaths is often less intense, less likely to be based on empathy, and less likely to be accompanied by appropriate behavioral changes. Psychopaths may still feel guilt, but it is often more closely associated with self-interest or fear of punishment than with a genuine feeling of remorse.
