Can you use argon instead of oxygen

I'm looking for some help. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to use argon instead of oxygen for some kind of process? I'm not sure if it works the same way, and I'm not sure if there are any safety concerns I should be aware of. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'd appreciate any advice or tips you could offer.

Argon is an inert gas, meaning that it cannot react with other elements, so it cannot be used to support combustion or respiration. Oxygen is an active gas, meaning that it can combine with other elements to form molecules like water and carbon dioxide. Oxygen is essential for many biological processes, including respiration and combustion. Therefore, argon cannot be used instead of oxygen.
