Can you use argon CO2 for TIG

I'm new to TIG welding and I need some help. Can you use argon CO2 for TIG welding? I am aware that TIG welding typically uses argon or helium. But I read somewhere that argon CO2 can be used for TIG welding. Is this correct? If so, what precautions do I need to take? If not, what alternative gases should I use for TIG welding? I would really appreciate any advice from experienced TIG welders.

Yes, you can use argon CO2 for TIG welding. Argon CO2 is a combination of two gases, argon and carbon dioxide, that is used to provide an inert shielding gas for TIG welding. The argon helps protect the weld from oxidation while the carbon dioxide helps to increase the penetration of the weld. This combination of gases gives the welder the ability to weld different metals and create a stronger weld.
