"I'm hoping someone can help me with this question - can you run CO2 24 hours a day? I'm setting up a new planted aquarium and want to make sure I'm doing it right. I'm worried that running CO2 all the time could be bad for the fish and plants in the tank, but I also want to make sure the plants get enough CO2. Does anyone have experience with running CO2 24 hours a day? Any advice would be much appreciated.

CO2, or carbon dioxide, is a naturally occurring gas in Earth's atmosphere. It is essential for life, as it is one of the primary components of photosynthesis and plant life. While it is beneficial for life on Earth, too much of it can be dangerous. The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is increasing due to human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, and this is causing climate change.

While it is not possible to run CO2 24 hours a day, there are methods of controlling the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. For example, trees absorb CO2 from the atmosphere as part of photosynthesis, and planting more trees can help reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Other methods include reducing emissions from vehicles and factories, as well as capturing CO2 and storing it underground.
