I'm having a problem with my eyes and I'm hoping someone can help me. I have recently been told by my doctor that I have iritis in both eyes. Is it common to get iritis in both eyes? I'm worried because I've never heard of this before and I'm not sure what to expect. Are there any treatments or ways to manage it? If anyone has any experience or knowledge about this type of eye condition, please let me know. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to get iritis in both eyes. Iritis is an inflammation of the iris, which is the colored part of the eye. It can occur in one or both eyes, and it can cause eye pain, redness, and blurred vision. Iritis can be caused by an infection, allergies, trauma, or other underlying medical conditions. Treatment typically involves medications, such as steroids or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). In some cases, eye drops may be used to reduce inflammation.
