Can you exist without a pancreas

I am wondering if it is possible to exist without a pancreas. Has anyone had experience with this, either personally or with a family member or friend? If so, I would love to hear any advice or stories you have to share. I am interested to learn what life is like without a pancreas and how to manage the condition. What treatments are available, and what kind of lifestyle changes are necessary to cope? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Can You Exist Without a Pancreas?

The answer to this question is yes, but it is not recommended and can be dangerous. The pancreas is a vital organ located in the abdomen that produces hormones and enzymes that help with digestion and the regulation of blood sugar. Without a pancreas, the body is unable to properly digest food and absorb essential nutrients, leading to malnutrition and other health complications. People who have had their pancreases surgically removed, or have been born without one, have to take pancreatic enzymes with meals to help with digestion and maintain proper nutrition. Furthermore, people without a pancreas also require regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and blood fat levels, as well as taking insulin injections to regulate their blood sugar and prevent diabetes. Without proper management, the lack of a pancreas can be life-threatening.
