I'm wondering if it is possible to be under anesthesia for 10 hours? Has anyone ever had an experience with anesthesia lasting this long? I am looking for information on the effects this could have on the body and any other potential risks. I would really appreciate any input from other forum users who may have had experience with this or who know of any resources which could help me find more information.

No, it is not recommended to be under anesthesia for 10 hours or more. The human body can only safely tolerate a few hours of general anesthesia, and even those hours can lead to serious health problems. The longer a person is under anesthesia, the greater the risk of complications such as postoperative delirium, nausea, vomiting, and even death. Therefore, it is important to use the safest and most effective anesthetic techniques, and to monitor the patient closely during and after the procedure.
