Can people in a coma feel you

I'm looking for help understanding something about people in a coma. Can they feel anything when someone is around them, such as a touch or voice? I know that people in a coma can sometimes hear, but can they actually feel someone's presence? Has anyone had any experience with this or know anyone who has? Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

What is a Coma?

A coma is a state of unconsciousness in which a person is completely unresponsive and unaware of their surroundings. A person in a coma can’t be awakened and can’t move, speak, or respond to touch or sound. They are alive, but their brain is not functioning.

Can People in a Coma Feel You?

It is not possible to know for sure if a person in a coma can feel or sense anything. Some people report feeling a warmth or pressure when their loved one touches them, but this is not scientifically proven. It is also possible that people in a coma may be able to hear the voices of those around them, although this is still not scientifically proven.
